Cranberry

The anti-adhesion properties of cranberries reduce the ability of Escherichia coli bacteria to stick to the urinary tract wall and help reduce the occurrence of medically diagnosed bladder infections. Cystitis is the most common type of urinary tract infection(UTI) particularly in women.

Cranberries are native to North America and cultivated throughout Canada and Chile. The fruits are initially light green turning red when ripe. Cranberries are rich in diverse phytochemical profiles like flavonoids, catechins, and triterpenoids among others.
